Dr. Aitchison is a UK certified Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon with 18 years’ Consultant experience, six years working in the UAE, including Head of Thoracic Surgery at SSMC Hospital. Prior to this Dr Aitchison worked at The Essex Cardiothoracic Centre, England for twelve years as a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon and Lead for Thoracic Surgery, where he set up the successful minimal access lung cancer surgery service.
